Job summary

Farnsworth Group is seeking an Interior Designer to lead interior aspects of projects across a range of types. You will coordinate design, project documentation, and revisions while collaborating with architects and engineers to deliver beautiful spaces.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in interior design, 5+ years of experience, and AutoCAD/Revit proficiency; NCDIQ certification preferred. Hybrid work options are available in Illinois locations including Springfield.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in interior design, from an accredited program.
• 5+ years of interior design experience
• NCDIQ certification, preferred
• Experience in maintaining client relationships
• AutoCAD and Revit experience, required

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design and delivery of the interior aspects of a project including programming client needs, space planning, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
• Participate in the selection and presentation of FF&E, color palettes, and lighting.
• Provide design support and documentation to communicate ideas from concept to completion including 3D development, graphics, and construction documents
