Job summary

The Coast Guard Community Services Command is seeking a Supervisory Interdisciplinary General Engineer and Facilities Manager. You will lead engineering and facilities planning across about 65 nationwide facilities, directing modernization, safety oversight, and infrastructure projects.

Provide technical guidance to senior leadership and coordinate with contracting personnel on complex construction and repair initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Professional Engineering from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent (engineering curriculum).
• Combination of education and experience demonstrating engineering fundamentals and practical application.
• Professional registration as a PE or equivalent recognition is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise engineering and facilities planning personnel and direct engineering, construction, renovation, repair, and modernization efforts.
• Provide authoritative engineering guidance to senior leadership and contracting personnel on facilities management, safety, and infrastructure matters.
• Support approximately 65 geographically dispersed facilities across the U.S. and territories, including risk and compliance assessment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
