Job summary

You will lead design and execution of CG facilities, including new constructions and renovations. You will coordinate with AE contractors, ensure schedules and budgets are met, and support NEPA determinations and permitting as part of a broad facilities program for the Coast

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent as required.
• Official college transcript required prior to appointment.
• Foreign education may be used if equivalent to US accredited education; evidence must be provided.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Project Manager/Mechanical Engineer within a multi-disciplinary AE team for CG Training Center Birmingham Southern in Birmingham, AL.
• Plan and execute large or complex engineering designs for CG facilities, including new construction and renovations.
• Coordinate with AE contractors, reviews of plans, specifications, and cost estimates; support contracting and NEPA determinations.
