Job summary

The Coast Guard Community Services Command seeks a Supervisory Interdisciplinary General Engineer and Facilities Manager to lead engineering and facilities planning for the organization. You will supervise a team across 65 facilities nationwide, including Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, directing major projects and ongoing upkeep.

You will provide authoritative guidance to senior leadership on infrastructure modernization, safety compliance, and contract oversight, ensuring efficient operations

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• ABET or equivalent; professional engineering licensure preferred.
• Experience in DoD/USCG environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Supervisory Interdisciplinary General Engineer and Facilities Manager.
• Oversee engineering, construction, renovation, and modernization of facilities.
• Provide technical recommendations to senior leadership.
• Oversee safety compliance and facilities management for 65 facilities.
