Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, through WECTEC Staffing Services, seeks a Senior Manager, Interconnection Services in Norwell, MA to lead the generator interconnection process from development through construction. You will work with ISO/RTOs, transmission providers, and internal teams to evaluate feasibility, manage studies, and align projects with grid requirements.

Qualifications

Experience with power flow, short-circuit, and stability analysis.
Familiarity with ISO/RTO processes and transmission regulations.
Knowledge of generator interconnection workflows and studies.

Responsibilities

Perform interconnection and injection studies using PowerGEM, PSS/E, ASPEN, and TARA.
Manage generator interconnection applications with ISO/RTO timelines.
Review system impact studies, facility studies, and network upgrade costs.
Coordinate with development, engineering, and construction teams and external partners.
Analyze grid constraints and transmission planning criteria to guide decisions.
Support negotiations with transmission providers to improve solutions and reduce costs.
Develop strategies to minimize curtailment and improve outcomes.
Monitor regulatory changes and inform project strategy.
