Job summary

Westinghouse Electric is seeking a Senior Interconnection Manager for an 11‑month contract (W‑2) based in Florida. The role oversees the full life cycle of generator interconnection projects within MISO and SPP, coordinating with ISO/RTOs, developers and utilities to ensure timely, compliant interconnections.

The ideal candidate will have a strong power systems background, experience with NERC reliability standards and interconnection studies, and a proven ability to communicate complex issues

Qualifications

• Power systems background with understanding of transmission planning and NERC reliability standards.
• Experience with interconnection studies and generator interconnection processes.
• Must coordinate with ISOs/RTOs, developers and utilities.
• Ability to translate technical information for management.

Responsibilities

• Manage generator interconnection application process and timelines.
• Coordinate withISO/RTOs and utilities for interconnections.
• Develop strategies to improve interconnection processes.
• Monitor regulatory changes to inform planning.
