Job summary

Urban Grid in Houston, TX seeks a Senior Manager/Director of Interconnection to lead the Interconnection team within Transmission & Development Engineering. You will guide the interconnection process across projects, optimize queues, and coordinate with ISOs/Utilities to position projects for bankability. Strong leadership, technical depth in power systems, and 7+ years in renewables are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in electric utility or renewable industry.
• Experience leading interconnection activities and teams.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with ISO/RTO interconnection processes a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee interconnection team and lifecycle from Application to COD.
• Coordinate with ISO/RTOs and utilities; manage queues and milestones.
• Negotiate interconnection agreements and manage project milestones.
• Provide due diligence for M&A activities and develop interconnection strategy.
