Job summary

Urban Grid is seeking a Senior Manager/Director, Interconnection in Houston, Texas, to oversee its interconnection team and provide technical support for projects. This role involves managing interconnection processes, aligning schedules with development targets, and ensuring project bankability.

Candidates should have a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, at least 7 years of experience, and excellent leadership skills. The position offers a hybrid working schedule and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the electric utility or renewable industry.
• Experience in PJM, MISO, SERC, TVA, WECC, BPA is preferred.
• Understanding of wholesale power market pricing and dynamics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage interconnection team, overseeing engineers and similar roles.
• Lead all phases of the interconnection lifecycle from application to COD.
• Negotiate final interconnection agreements ensuring milestones are met.
