Job summary

Electric Reliability Council of Texas, Inc. (ERCOT) is seeking an experienced engineer to lead interconnection studies and related power-system analyses in Taylor, TX. The role expects deep expertise in wholesale-electric systems and a track record of team leadership within complex projects.

You will engage with industry groups, stakeholders, and senior customers while advancing modeling methods and reliability studies across ERCOTs grid interconnections.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in Wholesale-Electric Systems Operations, Transmission Planning or related fields.
• Experience supervising or leading a team or project.
• Experience with interconnection evaluation and dynamic models is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for interconnection studies and evaluation methods.
• Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with management and customers.
• Develop modeling requirements for large interconnections and generation resources.
• Represent ERCOT in external technical forums, conferences, and working groups.
• Mentor engineers and publish technical reports advancing interconnection studies.
