BlackLine is seeking a Senior Value Advisor for the Intercompany team, providing strategic guidance through complex financial transformations. You will partner with sales, product, and success teams to design scalable, automated intercompany solutions.

You will lead discovery, develop value-based demonstrations, and translate business goals into technical blueprints for executive stakeholders. This remote USA role emphasizes collaboration and impactful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in pre-sales, solution architecture, or consulting within enterprise software (SaaS) or ERP ecosystem.
• Deep functional expertise in Intercompany Accounting, Financial Close, or related Tax/Treasury operations.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and data integration.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, value-oriented business outcomes for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven success in designing and architecting complex financial or accounting solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust and influence senior stakeholders.
• A "seller's mentality" with a passion for strategic problem-solving and driving customer success.

Responsibilities

• Act as the lead technical and solution expert during the sales process, shaping the solution strategy for high-impact opportunities.
• Partner with Account Executives to qualify customer needs and demonstrate ROI of the BlackLine Intercompany platform.
• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand a customer's ERP landscape, data governance, and compliance requirements.
• Design and present compelling solution architectures and demos addressing intercompany challenges.
• Translate customer goals into scalable, compliant, automated solution blueprints.
• Collaborate with Implementation, Partner, and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth transitions from pre-sale to post-sale.
• Provide prescriptive guidance on integrations, data management, and change management.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite leaders and finance, tax, and IT executives; share automation insights.
• Share field insights with Product Management to inform platform direction; participate in webinars and events.
