Job summary

The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) is seeking a Civil Engineer Supervisor to provide staff supervision, technical leadership, and program management for complex transportation projects in partnership with public agencies. You will supervise professionals and serve as a senior technical lead across the Interagency portfolio.

You will work with the Interagency Program Manager, SDOT teams, City departments, and external partners to set priorities, resolve issues, and guide projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology.
• Six years professional civil engineering experience, including two years supervisory.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Washington.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex interagency transportation projects from planning to closeout.
• Provide senior engineering review and guidance on design, utilities, ROW, and constructability.
