Job summary

CyberCoders in New York City is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of integration capabilities across our platform. You will design APIs, connectors, and data ingestion pipelines to connect customer systems and workflows.

You will collaborate with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Implementation teams to translate requirements into scalable integration solutions, ensuring security and reliability while driving product growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in backend application development.
• Experience designing APIs and integration architectures.
• Knowledge of third-party APIs, data synchronization, authentication and authorization.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving across distributed systems.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and customer-facing teams.
• Self-directed mindset with ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain customer-facing integrations.
• Build APIs, connectors, synchronization services, and data ingestion pipelines.
• Integrate with accounting applications, workflow platforms, document repositories, and other third-party systems.
• Enhance the stability, monitoring, and scalability of integration infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Implementation teams to understand customer requirements.
• Investigate and resolve integration-related issues while identifying opportunities to create repeatable product solutions.
• Contribute to the design of security controls, access management, authentication, and data governance frameworks.
