David Joseph & Company is seeking a backend software engineer to own and build integrations connecting the platform to third‑party property management systems and bespoke client systems. Qualifications

• 2–5 years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on Python and FastAPI skills.
• Track record of building and maintaining third‑party API integrations.
• Experience designing integrations — REST APIs, data modeling, and webhooks.
• Startup experience (seed to Series A, teams under 50).
• Customer-facing engineering experience.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Based in NYC area and able to work a 3‑day hybrid schedule near Penn Station.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain integrations with property management systems and client systems.
• Join customer calls to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design and ship zero‑to‑one integrations for enterprise customers with proprietary systems.
• Work closely with platform and product teams to refactor and scale the integration layer.
