Job summary

Hastings Insurance is seeking a Senior Integration Developer to support, modernize, and streamline the core integrations powering our Property & Casualty systems. This role blends design, hands-on C# development, and cross-functional collaboration to build reliable integrations across our enterprise footprint, including modern microservices. Based in Hastings, MI or remote within approved states, the position is full-time with a standard 8:00 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m. schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on backend software development focused on enterprise systems integration and API design.
• Experience with modern .NET frameworks and C# language features.
• Familiarity with asynchronous messaging patterns and service-oriented architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and build maintainable microservices, APIs, and integration components for data/workflow movement across P&C platforms.
• Modernize architecture by expanding decoupled services and containerized deployments.
• Lead code reviews, mentor teammates, and uphold high standards for quality and documentation.
• Support AI-assisted development practices to improve productivity and delivery.
