Job summary

Hastings Insurance is seeking an Integration Developer to join our Data, BI, and Architecture team. You will design, develop, and support integrations between internal and external systems that power our Property and Casualty operations.

This role blends hands-on coding with collaboration across architects and business partners to ensure data integrity, performance, and scalable solutions in a modernized technology landscape.

Qualifications

• Exposure to software development and systems integration concepts.
• Knowledge of microservice architecture and modern integration frameworks.
• Experience developing APIs and working with database concepts.
• Familiarity with IDEs and collaborative development environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop integrations, APIs, and microservices for system connectivity.
• Translate business requirements into technical integration specifications.
• Implement components across integration platforms and messaging frameworks.
• Support maintenance and reliability of the integration solution suite.
• Follow SDLC practices including coding, testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Collaborate with architects and senior developers to evaluate solutions and estimates.
• Promote best practices for consistent, efficient delivery.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
