Job summary

Connection in New Hampshire seeks a Sr. Business Integration Analyst to drive IT integration projects. You will work with customers and suppliers on EDI, API, and system integrations, gathering requirements and delivering technical specs.

Responsibilities include coordinating with development and QA teams, translating business needs into artifacts, and ensuring timely, scalable integration solutions that support warehouse, workforce, and data security improvements.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of EDI standards and trading partner interactions.
• In-depth knowledge of APIs and JSON vs relational DBs.
• Ability to present to a diverse audience including customers and management.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Experience with ERP systems and EDI integration.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills for creating documents/presentations.
• Knowledge of Agile requirement hierarchy and writing user stories.
• Understanding of distribution business processes.
• Experience with bug tracking and ERP systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communications.

Responsibilities

• Understands business needs and identifies opportunities through joint analysis of systems and processes.
• Drives development of new systems and integrated processes with external customers and manages IT projects.
• Translates business requirements into functional and system specifications.
• Produces artifacts for the agile SDLC: requirements, specs, process maps, plans, mockups, test cases.
• Provides root cause analysis for difficult problems and their solutions.
• Communicates interdependencies of various systems to stakeholders.
• Resolves issues or escalates risk to management.
• Manages customer change requests submitted to Helpdesk.
• Supports Development team in Agile/Scrum environment.
• Supports QA with unit and regression testing.
• Works with customers to support system integrations.
• Identifies improvements for internal and external customers.
