Job summary

Race Winning Brands seeks an experienced automotive systems engineer to lead intake system projects from concept to launch. You will direct cross-functional teams, define development timelines, and coordinate prototype manufacturing and RD resources.

The role requires 5+ years in automotive intake design, proficiency in SolidWorks (Flow Simulation preferred), COMSOL, and CFD tools, plus hands-on manufacturing experience and ERP/MS Office skills. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years engineering experience in developing Automotive Intake System products from concept to launch.
• Proficient in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred) with advanced surface modeling.
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage to defined timelines.
• Hands-on manufacturing environment experience and vehicle engine system work.
• Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead Automotive Intake System development projects from concept to launch and manage cross-functional teams.
• Define timelines for new product development projects and ensure delivery to budget.
• Prepare product layouts using detailed drawings and schematics.
• Coordinate prototype manufacturing and manage R&D resources.
• Maintain strong knowledge of Automotive Intake System development and relationships with third parties.
• Communicate with Purchasing for tooling and fixturing needs.
• Act as Engineering liaison to external customers when required.
• Provide status updates on schedule, budget, and activity performance.
