The role emphasizes hands-on design, 3D CAD (SolidWorks), CFD analysis, and collaboration with suppliers and customers. Strong project management and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years engineering experience developing Automotive Intake System products.
• Proficiency in design and development of automotive intake systems.
• Superior project management and timeline adherence.
• Hands-on experience with 3D CAD and advanced surface modeling.
• CFD analysis experience; SolidWorks Flow Simulation or similar.
• Comfortable in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of product design and manufacturing processes.
• Able to take constructive feedback; ERP and MS Office familiarity.
• Experience in design-to-order product environments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with vehicle engine systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead Automotive Intake System development projects from concept to launch.
• Define project timelines and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Direct prototype manufacturing and R&D resource management.
• Maintain relationships with third-party resources and suppliers.
• Prepare detailed designs with drawings and schematics.
• Ensure documentation complies with engineering policies and budgets.
• Communicate status to supervisor and management.
