Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Life Insurance, Annuities, or Group Benefits architecture teams. You will design and deliver target-state architectures, collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions across policy administration, underwriting, claims, and servicing.

You will shape modernization roadmaps, evaluate platform capabilities, and contribute to cloud-based data and integration efforts, while guiding teams through

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant consulting, architecture, or technology experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Life Insurance, Annuities, or Group Benefits.
• Experience delivering architecture deliverables for large-scale transformation programs.
• Knowledge of architecture patterns, integration technologies, APIs, middleware, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native solutions.
• Experience facilitating architecture workshops and presenting to executives and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and delivery of solution architectures for Life & Group Insurance transformation initiatives.
• Develop architecture artifacts, solution designs, and technical specifications across policy administration, underwriting, claims, servicing, integrations, data, and reporting.
• Partner with business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable technology solutions.
• Contribute to target-state architecture roadmaps and modernization strategies.
• Evaluate platform capabilities and support solution option assessments and trade-off analyses.
• Assist with integration architecture efforts including APIs, middleware, cloud services, and enterprise system connectivity.
• Support data architecture activities, including data migration, reporting, analytics, and cloud-based data platforms.
• Participate in architecture governance, design reviews, and compliance with standards and security.
