Job summary

Old Republic Bitco is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join the Home Office Digital Solutions team in Davenport, IA. This role acts as a bridge between business units and IT to translate requirements into scalable technology solutions.

The candidate will improve end-user experiences across modern insurance processes, including distribution, CRM, onboarding, commissions, compliance, policy administration, and claims. A self-starter with a passion for new tech is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, IT, or equivalent experience within P&C insurance or financial services industry.
• 10+ years' experience interfacing between IT and Business, Distribution, and Sales Operations with a systems and process focus.
• Strong understanding of Sales, Distribution, Agency Management, Customer Support, Commissions, producer onboarding, user security, configuration, troubleshooting, and support.
• In-depth understanding of business system analyst, project management, and system implementation methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills; ability to work with all levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to handle sensitive data and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of insurance business processes across Sales, Distribution, Agency Management, Policy and Claims lifecycle, and Compliance.
• Lead design, build, and admin of complex business processes within modern applications.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and process flows for development teams.
• Evaluate current processes and propose improvements to meet business needs.
• Serve as SME and technical lead on industry standard integrations into agency management systems.
• Build and maintain workflows, rules logic, and decision modeling across new apps.
• Create reports, dashboards, and views to support Distribution, Service, and Operations.
