Old Republic Bitco is seeking an Underwriting Assistant to join our Home Office in Davenport, IA. This role provides essential clerical and data-management support to keep policy information accurate and operations moving smoothly.

The position offers hybrid/remote flexibility, with occasional travel to other OR Bitco offices. You will work with Word and Excel, support internal audits, and deliver excellent service to internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a professional office setting.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Must be dependable with regular attendance.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain data lists and records.
• Ensure accuracy of department information, files, reports, and records.
• Prepare memos, letters, and reports.
• Enter and retrieve data in various systems.
• Provide services for internal customers and audits.
• Maintain underwriting manuals and process maps.
• Deliver excellent internal and external customer service.
• Assist with inquiries and reporting needs.
