Job summary

Old Republic Bitco is seeking an Accountant to join our Home Office in Davenport, IA. The role focuses on preparing, analyzing, and reporting financial information under SAP and U.S. GAAP, supporting annual closings and regulatory filings, and maintaining strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Experience with SAP or statutory accounting is a plus.
• Advanced Excel and accounting software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, reconcile, and analyze general ledger accounts and entries.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare statutory and GAAP financial reports and regulatory filings.
• Manage accounting for premiums, loss reserves, and intercompany transactions.
• Analyze financial results and key business metrics.
• Assist with process improvements and internal controls.
