Qualifications
- 10+ years of substantive insurance coverage experience.
- Strong research, writing, analytical and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex matters independently while balancing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Advise insurance clients on complex coverage issues involving commercial liability, excess coverage, and other third-party claims
- Prepare detailed coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, coverage position letters, legal memoranda, and related analysis
- Research and analyze complex legal and factual issues affecting insurance coverage and claim determinations
- Work directly with claims professionals, in-house counsel, and client representatives to develop practical coverage strategies and recommendations
- Manage multiple matters, deadlines, client communications, and case-related priorities while maintaining a high level of work product
