Job summary
Clyde & Co US LLP seeks a Senior Associate or Senior Counsel attorney to join our growing insurance coverage litigation practice in Seattle. This role involves providing strategic guidance on first-party and third-party coverage analysis and defending against alleged bad faith claims across Washington and other jurisdictions nationwide.
The ideal candidate is admitted to the Washington State Bar, has experience in insurance coverage or related commercial litigation, and demonstrates strong legal
Qualifications
- Admitted to practice in Washington State.
- Experience in insurance coverage or coverage litigation or a commercial litigation background with interest in insurance coverage work.
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to manage sensitive and time‑critical matters.
- Strong problem-solving skills and multitasking capability.
Responsibilities
- Analyze rights and obligations under insurance policies and draft coverage opinions.
- Conduct legal research, analyze findings, and draft memoranda.
- Prepare and analyze pleadings, discovery, motions, and supporting briefs.
- Maintain communication with clients, opposing counsel, and others.
- Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations.
- Proactively manage matters, deadlines, and client communications.
