Job summary

CyberCoders is partnering with a respected law firm in Seattle to hire a Senior Associate Attorney for its Insurance Coverage practice. The role focuses on analyzing complex coverage issues, advising clients on policy interpretation, and managing sophisticated litigation.

You will handle a broad range of matters, including disputes and litigation, while collaborating with a talented legal team to deliver strategic counsel and excellent client service in a fast-growing practice.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Washington State Bar.
• 5+ years of experience in insurance coverage, insurance bad faith litigation, or a mix.
• Oregon State Bar admission is a plus.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal communication and client-facing abilities.
• Proven ability to manage complex matters in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to professionalism and high-quality legal work.

Responsibilities

• Advise on policy interpretation, claims handling, and disputes.
• Manage and support complex insurance coverage and bad faith litigation matters.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to shape case strategy and guidance.
• Represent clients in litigation, mediation, negotiations, and other dispute processes.
• Review and analyze insurance policies, coverage positions, and related docs.
• Monitor changes in insurance law and industry developments to provide current guidance.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to deliver exceptional client service.
