Job summary

Branch is seeking a Senior Insurance Contract & QA Analyst to own the end-to-end forms and endorsements for personal lines across multiple states. You will draft contracts, run filings, and ensure output matches what was filed, while supporting ongoing compliance and QA testing.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Underwriting, Pricing, Actuarial, Claims and Tech to push changes from contract language through to system delivery, in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Personal lines P&C insurance experience.
• Policy language interpretation.
• Contract drafting, revision and compliance review in an insurance context.
• State regulatory environments with filings or inquiries.
• Quality assurance methodology including test planning and defect tracking.
• Reading system output for discrepancies in policy issuance and rating.
• Cross-functional partnership with Product, Underwriting, Actuarial, Claims and Technology.
• Attention to detail that holds under pace.
• Automation and continuous improvement experience.
• Written communication of findings.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Alternate route in with QA/insurance systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain personal lines contracts, forms and endorsements across multiple states and lines of business
• Complete filings and respond to regulatory inquiries on the contract
• Serve as a resident expert on the contract terms for our product lines
• Carry ongoing compliance review as products, systems and regulations change
• Review competitor offerings and market needs, and bring that read into forms and endorsement development
• Test product output to confirm that what was filed with departments of insurance is what the system actually produces, in function and in formatting
• Test rating and pricing changes as rating tables are updated state by state
• Build and maintain test plans, test cases and defect tracking for contract, rating and system changes
• Continue the automation of quality assurance work in partnership with the analytics team
• Partner with Product Management, Underwriting, Pricing, Actuarial, Claims and Technology on changes that cross the contract, the rating and the system
• Write documentation for contract updates and test cases that the people downstream can actually follow
• Manage multiple states and workstreams in parallel, through real peaks and valleys in the calendar
