Job summary

WAHVE is recruiting for a Senior Operations Business Analyst to support insurance carrier or MGA clients from home. The role involves liaising with underwriting, accounting, compliance, audit, and IT teams, translating requirements into actionable specs, and managing multi-state, multi-line policy life cycles including rating, quoting, and issuing policies.

Ideal candidates will have extensive insurance experience (10+ years) and a strong background in operational KPI development, workflow

Qualifications

• 25 years of full-time work experience.
• 10 recent years of insurance industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with underwriting, accounting, compliance, audit, information technology, etc.
• Translate conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to technicians.
• Become proficient in managing multi-state, multi-line accounts throughout the policy life cycle which could include rating/pricing, quoting, and issuing policies as well as handling related account activity.
• Participate and understand the development of operational KPI’s and service standards.
• Process transactions and follow varied workflows dependent upon line of business, company, state, specific rules, and regulations.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) regarding how to prepare data submissions to rating bureaus and state departments of insurance.
