Job summary

Branch is seeking a Senior Insurance Contract & QA Analyst to own the development and maintenance of personal lines contracts, forms and endorsements across multiple states. You will test what we file to ensure it matches approvals and formatting, reporting to the Director of Underwriting, Contract & QA.

You will collaborate with Product, Underwriting, Pricing, Actuarial, Claims and Tech to manage changes across contracts, rating and systems.

Qualifications

• Personal lines P&C insurance experience, 5+ years in contract and forms development or claims language.
• Ability to interpret policy language and compare coverage differences.
• Experience drafting, revising and reviewing contracts for insurance context.
• Experience with state regulatory filings and responses.
• QA methodology: test planning, test case development, defect tracking.
• Reading system output and verifying issuance and rating results.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Product, Underwriting, Actuarial, Claims and Tech.
• Attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies under tight timelines.
• Automation and continuous improvement in QA processes.
• Written communication to clearly report findings.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Alternate QA insurance experience allowed.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain personal lines contracts, forms and endorsements across multiple states.
• Complete filings and respond to regulatory inquiries on the contract.
• Serve as resident expert on the contract terms for our product lines.
• Carry ongoing compliance review as products, systems and regulations change.
• Review competitor offerings and market needs and translate into forms and endorsement development.
• Test product output to confirm alignment with filings and system behavior.
• Test rating and pricing changes state by state.
• Build and maintain test plans, test cases and defect tracking for contract, rating and system changes.
• Continue the automation of QA work in partnership with the analytics team.
• Partner with Product Management, Underwriting, Pricing, Actuarial, Claims and Technology on cross-cutting changes.
• Write documentation for contract updates and test cases that downstream teams can follow.
• Manage multiple states and workstreams in parallel.
