Job summary

West Monroe is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Insurance practice in Chicago. You will manage workstreams, collaborate with client stakeholders, and apply insurance and consulting expertise to solve business and technology challenges.

You will also begin mentoring junior consultants while contributing to business development and the growth of our practice. In this role you will leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, design future-state processes, and guide client decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in team-based consulting with external clients.
• 2+ years in organizational transformation, process improvement, or managing project workstreams.
• Experience managing workstreams, priorities, risks, and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience integrating AI tools into day-to-day workflows.

Responsibilities

• Manage client workstreams and deliverables with high-quality output.
• Collaborate with business and tech stakeholders to design processes and tech solutions.
• Facilitate workshops to define future-state processes and requirements.
• Lead requirements gathering, process design, and evaluations informed by insurance practices.
• Develop client communications, project and implementation plans, and risk mitigation deliverables.
• Forecast risks, issues, timelines, and budgets with engagement leadership.
• Mentor junior consultants and support business development.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis and generate data-driven insights.
