Job summary

Jerry is seeking a Senior Lead for Insurance Compliance & Regulatory to join the Insurance Operations team. This role focuses on solving complex systemic issues, building rigorous compliance frameworks, and bridging customers, regulators, and product teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in insurance, including regulatory compliance, and a P&C license or willingness to obtain. This remote role offers full benefits and collaboration with Legal, Product, and Ops leadership.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required or willingness to obtain
• 5+ years of insurance experience, including 3+ years in state insurance and regulatory compliance
• 2+ years in a team lead or supervisory role
• Proven track record managing state regulatory inquiries and carrier audits
• Strong knowledge of NAIC model regulations and market conduct standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication with legal/compliance detail
• Analytical mindset with data-driven improvement experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end investigation and de-escalation framework for complex customer complaints
• Manage carrier audits and state regulatory complaint workflows; draft official correspondence
• Partner with Legal, Product and Engineering to convert audit findings into product/process fixes
• Own complaint log and workflows, ensuring audit-ready records for examinations
• Serve as operational liaison for carrier partners during investigations and inquiries
• Provide guidance and coaching to team members handling customer service and compliance
• Maintain audit-ready regulatory records to support timely DOI inquiries and leadership updates
