Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced insurance claims Manager to lead complex engagements across property, business interruption, cyber and other commercial losses. You will work with forensic accountants, valuation professionals, attorneys, and brokers to develop claim strategies and manage client engagements.

Travel to client sites is required, with in-office presence as needed. The role emphasizes leadership, analysis, collaboration, and development of junior staff within a dynamic, global EY team.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, risk management, insurance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in insurance claims, forensic accounting, dispute advisory, consulting, or related field.
• Experience managing complex commercial insurance claims or insurance-related consulting engagements.
• Strong understanding of property damage, business interruption, cyber, builder's risk, or other commercial insurance claims.
• Experience supervising engagement teams and reviewing work products.

Responsibilities

• Manage analysis, preparation, and presentation of complex commercial insurance claims for policyholders.
• Lead engagement teams, oversee technical analyses and client deliverables.
• Coordinate responses to carrier information requests and manage engagement timelines.
• Develop claim methodologies and prepare submissions that withstand insurer scrutiny.
• Mentor staff and senior team members and foster client relationships.
