Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate for Commercial Lines. This remote role supports the account team under supervision of AM/AE/Producer, handling renewals, policy management, and client submissions across Contractors, Hospitality and Real Estate sectors.

You will lead tasks, manage policy data in agency systems, and ensure quality service while driving accuracy and timely issuance of policies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required; professional designation (CISR) preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of team support and accounts staff.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and billing tasks.
• Support new and renewal business: research clients, gather underwriting info, prepare proposals.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and assist with collections.
