Job summary

Global Accounting Network Limited seeks an experienced Insurance Accounting Manager to oversee key accounting and financial reporting within a growing insurance organization. This role blends hands-on technical accounting with team leadership and substantial involvement in statutory reporting, audits, internal controls, and process improvement.

The Accounting Manager will lead and develop staff, ensure timely financial statements, and coordinate with auditors and regulators while driving process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA required.
• 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience in insurance.
• Experience supervising accounting professionals and coordinating audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting activities and provide technical direction to the accounting team.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting professionals.
• Oversee the monthly and quarterly close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare and review statutory financial reporting and regulatory filings.
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with regulators and auditors.
• Ensure GAAP and SAP compliance and strengthen internal controls.
• Identify opportunities to streamline, automate accounting processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across locations.
