Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Permanent External Reporting Manager to lead external financial reporting across GAAP, statutory accounting principles, and insurance reporting requirements. You will ensure accurate and timely financial statements, manage audits with external auditors, and use Bluebook oversight for insurance reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance required; master or CPA preferred.
• At least 5 years in financial reporting with GAAP and statutory principles.
• Experience in insurance reporting and financial statement prep.
• Strong audit skills and ability to manage audits.
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office; Excel strong.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and review of external reports per GAAP, statutory, and insurance rules.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows.
• Manage the audit process with external auditors for compliance.
• Apply Bluebook to insurance reporting oversight.
• Maintain relationships with reinsurers and fronting agreements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data accuracy.
• Identify and implement process improvements for reporting efficiency.
