Job summary

MSIG USA, the US-based subsidiary of MS&AD Insurance Group Holdings, is seeking an experienced accounting professional. You will oversee accounting and reporting for MSIG’s three insurance entities, manage journal entries, reconciliations, reinsurance analysis, and quarterly NAIC reporting.

The role supports audits and regulatory compliance with a focus on accuracy and process documentation. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting with at least five years of accounting experience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience is required.
• Property & casualty insurance experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accounting and reporting of direct and program business for MSIG’s three insurance companies, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Research and document all reinsurance matters and provide information to Treasury for accurate accounting.
• Perform PL TPA accounting including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations and follow up on open balances.
• Complete quarterly NAIC reporting for three companies, including notes and schedules.
• Document and maintain procedures for assigned responsibilities and assist with audits.
