Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking a Senior Account Associate for Commercial Lines to support the account team, producers, and clients. You will manage policy expirations, endorsements, renewals, and related tasks while ensuring accuracy and timely service.

In this role, you will collaborate with account managers, prepare proposals, review contracts for proper coverage, and monitor billing and collections.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; professional designation (CISR) preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, Producer, and/or assigned group of accounts.
• Track policy expirations for existing clients, ensuring renewals are processed accurately and on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related documents.
• Assist in new and renewal business submissions, proposals, and coverages.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and support collections.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status and issues to the account team.
• Deliver excellent service and proactively meet client needs.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Seek and adopt best practices to improve performance.
• Demonstrate integrity and leadership aligned with IOA values.
