Qualifications

• Four or more years insurance brokerage or property casualty insurance experience in account management role preferred.
• P&C Insurance Producer License Required
• Continuing Education Credits in required lines and states
• Advanced professional designation (AAI, ARM, CIC) highly desirable
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong reading comprehension and analysis skills
• Strong data entry skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong organization and follow up skills
• Ability to effectively work in a team environment
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet utilization
• EPIC Agency Management System experience preferred but not required
• Manual dexterity to sit, use hands and fingers, and talk or hear regularly
• Light lifting up to ten pounds
• Close vision on a computer monitor

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day client needs, including coverage questions, payments, and cancellations.
• Manage all aspects of the client renewal process, including updated information, marketing, pricing, quotes, renewal numbers, and invoicing.
• Review quote documents to ensure insurance requirements are included in proposals.
• Maintain relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
• Coordinate and delegate work to Associate Account Managers I and II.
• Maintain relationships with underwriters and negotiate coverage.
• Set up and maintain proposals, bind coverage, review policies, and create client policy summaries and binders.
• Maintain electronic records.
• Apply broker standards for client files and information.
• Train and collaborate with team on coverage and exposures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
