Qualifications

• Active P&C license required.
• 5+ years in a similar commercial insurance role.
• Ability to manage client accounts and renewals.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Function as the main client contact for an assigned book of business containing PCL’s accounts, with a minimum book size of $1,000,000 in revenue
• Build, expand, and solidify client relationships at all levels
• Lead appropriate resources to address client needs, including risk identification and underwriting, policy, accounting, and claims issues
• Lead the renewal process by obtaining quotes and claims experience from carriers
• Assist Producers with new business calls and implementation of newly assigned accounts
• Act as liaison between producer and client by obtaining exposure and operation updates, receiving renewal applications, and ordering renewal documents
• Handle diverse Commercial Lines insurance products
• Submit complete and accurate renewal information to incumbent carriers
• Prepare Insurance Coverage Review documents
• Bind coverage with carriers according to client instructions
• Manage day-to-day assigned client accounts
• Discuss commercial policy coverages with customers
• Renew commercial policies by providing ID cards, binders, policies, and certificates
• Monitor and process quality control procedures
• Use the Agency Management System to create activities and attachments
• Manage all aspects of assigned accounts
• Communicate account status with PCL
• Manage accounts receivable for the designated book of business
• Process daily mail and perform daily administration
• Contribute to the development of Technical Assistants
