Job summary

The Ohio State University University Hospital is seeking a Senior Instrumentation Coordinator - New Tower to oversee the sterilization and preparation of instruments for surgeries and procedures across the Enterprise. You will coordinate daily activities between the Operating Rooms and the Central Sterile Supply Department to ensure smooth case flow and aseptic technique.

This 40-hour regular position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of instrument processing experience,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least two years of experience as an instrument processor or Surgical Technologist.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification required upon hire, or must obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities between the Operating Rooms and the Central Sterile Supply Department to facilitate efficient case flow.
• Oversee sterilization, assembly, and decontamination of surgical instruments across the Enterprise.
• Procure, standardize instrument trays and serve as a clinical liaison between ORs and CSS locations.
