Job summary

UGI Utilities, Inc is seeking a regional Telemetry Supervisor to direct the installation, maintenance, and repair of SCADA field equipment across the South region. You will supervise a geographically dispersed crew, manage budgets, and ensure continuous operation of gas telemetry and gate stations to support Central Gas Control and downstream billing.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years in telemetry/SCADA, strong leadership, and knowledge of electrical theory and gas measurement.

Qualifications

• College degree in a technical or related field.
• 5+ years in telemetry/SCADA with supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license for field travel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation, maintenance, calibration and repair of SCADA field equipment.
• Manage HR, timekeeping, overtime and 24/7 on-call coverage for critical conditions.
• Develop and manage budgets for telemetry and instrumentation work.
• Track failures, analyze root causes, maintain spare parts inventory.
• Oversee Metretek field units and evaluate new telemetry technologies.
