Job summary

UGI Utilities, Inc in Pennsylvania's South region seeks a seasoned Telemetry Supervisor to lead installation, maintenance, and repair of SCADA field equipment, ensuring reliable monitoring across gas distribution systems. You will manage a dispersed technical crew, develop budgets, and coordinate with engineers and stakeholders to keep telemetry operations running and compliant.

Candidates should have a technical degree, 5+ years in telemetry/SCADA, and strong leadership; valid driver's license

Qualifications

5+ years of telemetry/SCADA/electronics experience, including supervisory or crew lead experience.
College degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid driver’s license required for travel to field locations.
Experience with Metretek/PowerSpring, SAP, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Prior natural gas utility experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of SCADA field equipment at South region sites.
Manage HR and on-call coverage for 24/7 response to critical conditions.
Develop and manage budgets for telemetry and instrumentation work; coordinate with engineers.
Track equipment failures and manage spare parts inventory to keep systems operational.
Oversee installation and maintenance of Metretek field units and evaluate new telemetry technologies.
