Amgen is seeking a Senior Instrumentation Engineer to own instrumentation and control systems for facilities. You will design, start up, and qualify instrumentation and controls for new or modified systems, and work with automation and maintenance teams to ensure safe, compliant operation.

You will support calibration programs, ensure spare parts availability, and uphold GMP standards while providing technical leadership across 24/7 operations at the Holly Springs site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Engineering/I&C experience.
• Associate’s degree and 8 years of Engineering/I&C experience.
• Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of Engineering/I&C experience.
• Master’s degree and 2 years of Engineering/I&C experience.
• Doctorate degree in a related field preferred.

Responsabilités

• Own instrumentation and control system ownership for site equipment and operations.
• Lead design, startup, qualification of instrumentation and controls for new or modified systems.
• Collaborate with Automation Engineers and maintenance to solve field issues.
• Support calibration programs and ensure spare parts availability.
• Ensure safety and GMP compliance in line with regulatory requirements.
