Job summary

Amgen in Holly Springs, NC, is seeking a Senior Instrumentation Technician to support the start-up and daily operations of the FleX Batch facility. You will calibrate, repair, install, and document instruments across manufacturing, labs and utilities, while upholding GMP and safety standards.

Preferred candidates have 5+ years in instrumentation, with experience in sanitary equipment, P&ID interpretation, and CMMS like Maximo. On-call rotations may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years instrumentation experience or an associate degree with 6 months instrumentation experience.
• Preferred: 5+ years instrumentation experience and knowledge of sanitary processing equipment and systems.
• Experience in a regulated cGMP environment and in maintenance work orders.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, repair, install, troubleshoot, and document instruments on process control and building systems.
• Complete quality and safety documentation with GMP/SOP alignment.
• Communicate work status to operators and stakeholders; ensure accurate work orders.
• Review maintenance reports and look for process improvements; participate in on-call rotations.
