Job summary

Amgen seeks a Senior Instrumentation Technician to support the start-up of a new FleX Batch facility and oversee ongoing maintenance of process and building systems. You will calibrate, repair, install and troubleshoot instrumentation, ensuring adherence to GMP standards while coordinating with manufacturing, utilities and QA teams.

The role requires close collaboration with the Capital Project Delivery team during construction and post‑construction operations, with on-call rotations including

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED with instrumentation experience.
• Preferred associate degree with instrumentation background.
• Experience in sanitary processing equipment and GMP environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide calibration, repair, installation, troubleshooting and documentation of process instruments.
• Support startup, commissioning, and qualification of equipment and systems.
• Develop and execute metrology program documentation and SOPs.
• Ensure safety and GMP compliance during construction and startup.
• Communicate work status to system operators and stakeholders.
• Work in a fast-paced, highly regulated biotech manufacturing site.
