Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior Instrumentation Technician to support start-up and ongoing operation of our FleX Batch facility in Holly Springs, NC. You will calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain instrumentation across process control and building systems while ensuring GMP compliance and safety.

You will work with the Capital Project Delivery team during construction and with facilities and engineering post-construction to maintain high maintenance standards.

Qualifications

• Basic qualification: High school diploma or GED with 2 years instrumentation experience or
• Associate degree with 6 months instrumentation experience.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, repair, install, troubleshoot and document instruments on process control and building systems.
• Complete quality and safety documentation and schedule-aligned work with GMP alignment.
• Communicate work status to system operators and stakeholders.
• Review maintenance reports, plans and records for accuracy.
• Identify waste and process improvements and assist implementation.
• Represent instrumentation in discussions with site peers and other functions.
