Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Technician V for our Groton, CT site. The role focuses on calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of production equipment, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

You will use DeltaV, AMS, and Valve Link to commission and service control systems, while maintaining records in CMMS and ensuring GMP adherence. A strong mechanical and electrical background is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Six years of instrumentation & controls technician experience in industrial/pharma/chemical environments.
• Knowledge of industrial boiler operation and steam turbine operation.
• Ability to obtain security access badge and U.S. work authorization (citizenship or permanent resident).
• Willingness to work overtime, holidays, and alternate schedules.

Responsibilities

• Respond to work orders, troubleshoot, and provide calibration service on production equipment.
• Communicate effectively with site management and end users.
• Identify and correct safety-related issues; perform equipment evaluations.
• Maintain and calibrate instrumentation for Water Discharge; monitor emissions and water treatment equipment.
• Use CMMS to track, schedule, calibrate, and maintain records.
• Comply with GMP; develop and monitor work assignments for technicians.
