Amentum seeks an Instrumentation & Controls Technician at our Groton, CT site. You will respond to work orders, calibrate equipment, and maintain instrumentation across water discharge and emissions systems.

The role requires collaborating with management and end users while upholding safety and GMP-like standards. Preferred candidates have six years in instrumentation and controls, including turbine experience, and can obtain security clearance.

Formación

• High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
• Six years of instrumentation and controls experience, including steam turbine operation.
• Knowledge of industrial boiler operation, pressure, temperature and flow monitoring.
• Knowledge of steam turbine operation speeds, pressures, and safety protocols.
• Ability to obtain client security badge and work overtime as needed.
• Must be a United States citizen or permanent resident; no work sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to work orders, troubleshoot, and calibrate production equipment.
• Communicate effectively with site management and end users.
• Identify and correct safety-related issues during maintenance.
• Perform equipment evaluations to pre-empt failures and conduct general maintenance.
• Maintain instrumentation for Water Discharge and emissions monitoring.
• Utilize CMMS to track, schedule, calibrate, and maintain records.
• Operate diagnostic tools and instruments; support energy efficiency initiatives.
