Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Controls and Instrumentation Specialist focused on DeltaV for our chemical manufacturing environment. You will lead instrumentation and control activities, support FEED/EPC projects, and ensure regulatory and safety compliance across plant processes.

Strong collaboration with Maintenance and Operations is essential, with a hands-on role in troubleshooting and optimization. The position emphasizes field supervision, documentation, and continuous improvement, with CFSP preferred

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred; will consider Associates.
5+ years of instrumentation and controls experience, preferably in chemical manufacturing.
Certified Functional Safety Professional (CFSP) certification preferred.
Completion of Safety Instrumented Systems Certificate Program(s) or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Maintenance, Technical, and Operations teams to achieve equipment reliability goals.
Provide daily technical support to resolve design, maintenance, and operational issues.
Manage and support instrumentation, CEMS, and automation systems, incl. troubleshooting and documentation.
Lead FEED and EPC project support, develop work scopes, direct contractors, review control narratives, and ensure standards compliance.
Facilitate HAZOP, SIL reviews, and maintain functional safety plans.
Drive process improvements, support capital projects, and assist in turnaround planning.
