Job summary

Stanley Consultants is seeking a Control Systems Engineer with 10+ years of direct experience to lead instrumentation and control tasks for municipal water/wastewater, power plants, industrial automation, microgrid, CHP systems and more. You will design, analyze, and Commission plant control systems with PLCs and DCS, collaborating with site teams across multiple locations.

The role requires FE clearance and PE license eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from ABET accredited college or university; BSEE preferred.
• Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam taken and passed.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred but not required; must be able to attain PE license.

Responsibilities

• Technical Design & Analysis: develop and lead process instrumentation and control system tasks for diverse facilities.
• Collect, interpret, and analyze data from reports, drawings, and tests for project planning and design development.
• Prepare and review design computations, quantities, and specs to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Direct designers and technicians in converting designs into working drawings with technical accuracy.
• Evaluate design alternatives based on technical and cost considerations and project requirements.
• Participate in client communications and attend onsite/offsite meetings discussing technical deliverables.
