Job summary

Stanley Consultants seeks a Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to lead technical design, analysis, and documentation for complex projects across energy, federal, and transportation sectors. You will guide designers, review calculations, and collaborate with clients to ensure feasible, cost-effective solutions.

The role requires 8+ years in engineering, a BS in engineering, FE certification, and ability to pursue PE license.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree or equivalent required; BSEE preferred.
• FE exam must be taken and passed.
• PE licensure preferred but not required; candidate must attain PE.
• 8+ years in engineering with design, analysis, and construction administration.
• Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and projects.

Responsibilities

• Technical design and analysis for instrumentation and controls projects.
• Interpret data from reports, drawings, and tests to support design development.
• Prepare design computations, quantities, and technical specifications.
• Direct designers and technicians to translate designs into drawings with accuracy.
• Evaluate design options based on cost, requirements, and feasibility.
• Participate in client communications and meetings to discuss scope and status.
• Contribute to project budgets and probable design cost estimates.
• Maintain thorough project documentation and QA/QC in accordance with standards.
